Twenty-five years on, the football players of Team Spirit reunite to face the challenges of middle age and the sporting dreams of their children.

synopsis

Six friends, all former football players now in their fifties, are each struggling in their own way with their teenage children. When one of the friends reveals he has an incurable illness, everything takes on a different perspective: life is too short for arguments. The others make every effort to fulfil their friend's last wishes. To do this, they need the help of their children.
Zes bevriende ex-voetballers van vooraan de vijftig hebben elk op hun eigen manier moeite met hun jongvolwassen kinderen. De ongeneeslijke ziekte van een vriend plaatst alles in een ander perspectief: het leven is te kort voor ruzies. Ze stellen alles in het werk om hun vriend zijn laatste wensen in vervulling te doen gaan. Hiervoor hebben ze de hulp nodig van hun kinderen.
